Educational Recruitment
In addition to my training work, I am involved in educational recruitment projects worldwide. The vacancies are posted here and on commercial recruitment websites.
I have been a professional ESOL recruitment consultant since 1984. I started the English Worldwide group of companies that became the UK’s largest independent ESOL recruitment agency with annual sales in 1999 of GBP 1.25M. The company recruited over 400 teachers a year for clients around the world. I sold the company in 1999.
I now engage in highly specific recruitment projects with short times scales where my unique network can bring clients the results they need to run their institutions.

Every recruitment campaign is different and the content and overall approach is negotiated with the client. The typical
package I agree with clients includes:
the provision of teacher CVs from my own sources and from public advertising
short listing, or if the client prefers, forwarding of all candidates and short listing in collaboration with them
briefing of candidates
arranging of interviews
my presence at interviews
discussions as part of the selection procedure
reference taking on selected candidates
advising unsuccessful candidates
a guarantee to replace the candidate free of charge should this be needed within the first 10 weeks of employment.
