My Approach to Training
First of all I listen to what your concerns and issues are and this allows me to construct a training proposal for you.
I am highly consultative throughout this entire process and the final training day agenda and course contents will be something that we have developed collaboratively.
The scale that I operate on allows me to be flexible and innovative in both the contents of the seminar and the delivery mechanisms employed.
I believe that as a well as being relevant, training needs to be practical in the sense that delegates can put the new techniques into actual use in their workplace.
It also must be measurable so that delegates can get a real feel of the progress they have made and go home feeling they have gained something new.
Training is most effective when it is integrated. When a client asks me to offer more than one seminar, I tailor the contents of each programme so that each element fits together and ideas and common approaches and concepts consolidate one another.
Follow-up from the immediate line manager of each delegate and from me are critical to the success of a seminar and I also work very hard at a local level to get the maximum buy-in from these managers. Unsupported training will generally be much less effective or fail totally.
I think that’s enough but I hope you will see that there are real benefits of working with a smaller training provider. Please do contact me if you would like me to develop these ideas with you.
